Eligibility 

We encourage you to write or call one of our representatives who can help determine how we can be of assistance.  Currently, overall eligibility for financial assistance is based on:

  • A minimum of five years of Lindy Hop performance or pivotal service to the Lindy Hop community.
  • Age (62+)

Financial need

To apply for financial assistance, an application with supporting documentation and an interview is required.

Application Process

  • Applicant submits application along with all required supporting documentation to fund.
  • An Intake Representative reviews applicant's information and schedules interview. 
  • OARS (Older American Resources and Services) Multidimensional Functional Assessment Questionnaire is administered to obtain baseline data of an applicant's current level of functioning in 5 key dimensions:
    • Social Resources
    • Economic Resources
    • Mental Health
    • Physical Health
    • Ability to carry out Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

Program Implementation

  • Needs and service requirements are identified via the application process and OARS Multidimensional Functional Assessment Questionnaire.
  • An Individualized or Family Support Plan (ISP or FSP) is established targeting one or more of the following areas:
    • Financial Assistance
    • Health & Wellness Support
    • Social/Community Resources
    • Housing/Residential Resources
